Zion Free Lutheran Church
Ten miles southwest of Valley City in Green Township

Grace and Zion share a pastor and have other activities togaether. Sunday morning services at Zion begin at 9:00 with Sunday School following (during the school year) at 10:00. The women of Zion are active in Bible study and service projects. Adult Bible study is held jointly with Grace on Wednesday evening at 7:00 (7:30 during the summer months). The youth also particiapte in activities with the students from Grace. 

CHURCH HISTORY...
The Zion church was organized in July of 1888 and was named "Zion Skandinaviske Evgangeliske Lutheran Minighed" which was later changed to "Zion Norwegian Lutheran Free Church" and then" Zion Free Lutheran Church"(when it became a part of the Association Free Congregation).
The church was built in 1904. Several remodeling project have been done to the church building since then.
